So,
I'm getting more into the book, it still
hasn't bored me yet so
that's a good sign. Even though it's the beginning i feel like
Ill be able to read it without getting annoyed or bored with it. I realized today it was a love story, which i have nothing
against but have never really read by choice before. In this chapter we learn a
little more about the people on the beach that Rosemary has met. For quite a bit of it Mrs.
McKisco jokes around with her about a "plot" which ends up getting her high
intelligent husband
irritated. Rosemary eventually falls
asleep on the beach to
avoid talking to anyone else, which is similar to her actions in the first chapter were she seemed to try to distance herself from everyone. She wakes up to the voice of a man who was celebrating his departure. For a moment they look into
each others eyes, which could be a foreshadow of romance later on.
